On April 27, the Supreme Catholicos of All Armenians, N.S.O.T.T. Gregory the Second Cyan Patriarch, had a meeting with members of the Public Council of Divanagetehter (DHX), a state-approved organization, at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. Representatives of the Information System of the Mother See were also present at the meeting. During the discussion, Tiran Melikyan, the president of DHX, presented the organization’s objectives and programs. He emphasized the importance of their new initiative, which aims to create a comprehensive action plan for protecting the rights of the Armenian people, including vulnerable individuals.

The Catholicos of All Armenians highlighted the expertise of DHX members in external monitoring and analysis, particularly in protecting the legitimate rights of the Armenian people. He also mentioned that the Armenian theme will continue to be pursued in collaboration with international and interfaith organizations. This collaboration aims to address issues concerning the protection of the rights of Armenians in Artsakh and the preservation of their spiritual and cultural heritage.

Furthermore, the participants of the meeting stressed the significance of recognizing the Armenian Genocide, protecting the rights of Armenians in Artsakh, and ensuring the safe return of Armenian prisoners of war currently held in Azerbaijan.
