“Armenian Prime Minister strengthens ties with Argentina during official visit”

On March 26, Armenian Prime Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Argentine Foreign Minister Ernesto Argenziana at the Presidential Palace of the Argentine Republic during his official visit to Buenos Aires. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia announced this meeting. The attendees included members of the presidential palace staff and Tat̕ev Gasparian, a member of the Armenian-Argentine friendship group in the National Assembly.

During the meeting, Mirzoyan and Argenziana signed a joint statement that emphasized the high level of political dialogue between the two countries. They also expressed their readiness to expand cooperation in various areas such as agriculture, technological innovations, and education.

The bilateral relations between Armenia and Argentina are based on a long history of friendly relations between their peoples. These relations have played a significant role in the development of both countries. The meeting also explored opportunities for further deepening bilateral cooperation.

Mirzoyan also informed the President of the Argentine Republic and its members about the ongoing processes of organizing the regulation of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The situation has reached a dangerous phase due to a large number of ceasefire violations, and Mirzoyan stressed the importance of taking consistent steps to ensure regional stability.

Recognizing the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening bilateral relations, Mirzoyan extended an invitation to his Argentine colleagues to visit Armenia in 2023 to further solidify their ties.

In conclusion, Mirzoyan welcomed his Argentine colleagues to visit Armenia, stating, “You have friends in the Republic of Armenia, and we are waiting for you there.”
