Armenian Prime Minister Appoints Representative for Crucial Legislative Discussions: Meet Artiom Smbatyan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has just announced a significant development. In accordance with the 66th article of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, the National Assembly of Armenia has appointed Artiom Smbatyan, the first secretary of the committee of state revenues, as the representative of the Armenian National Assembly. Smbatyan’s role is to actively participate in discussions related to several crucial amendments and additions to various laws. These include the “Amendments and Additions to the Law on Mandatory Social Security Payments,” “Amendments and Additions to the Law on Customs Duties,” “Amendments and Additions to the Law on Income Tax,” “Amendments and Additions to the Law on Value Added Tax,” and “Amendments and Additions to the Law on Excise Tax.” This decision was reached during the examination of draft laws by the Government of Armenia.
