“Experts Warn: Climate Change to Worsen Droughts and Devastate Food Production by 2023”

According to experts in the field, global climate change is expected to worsen by 2023, leading to more frequent droughts and other severe conditions. These changes are primarily due to a 10% decrease in global food production, which is considered the main reason for the impending environmental crisis.

John Barker, the director of the organization responsible for international conferences on farming and agriculture, highlighted the significant impact of droughts, extreme heat, natural disasters, and animal diseases on global food production.

Reports indicate that the 10% decrease in food production is the highest recorded in the past 62 years. Australia has experienced the most significant decline with a 26% decrease, followed by Italy with a 23% decrease. However, Spain has managed to increase its food production by over 20%, while Chile and Sub-Saharan Africa have seen a 10% increase.

France, the world’s largest agricultural producer, has reported a 4% increase in food production for the past year.

In addition to the environmental factors, the report also highlights the rising cost of farming and food preparation, making it less affordable for consumers. The availability of agricultural land for farming has also decreased by 17.7 million square acres worldwide, according to the report.

Furthermore, the report reveals that by 2023, consumers are expected to spend 3% less on food. This is attributed to the high cost of living in China and a decline in population growth, which has resulted in a 25% decrease in food consumption in the country.

The global agricultural organization, consisting of 50 countries responsible for 75% of global food production, is the source of this information.
