“Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs: State support program beneficiaries and disability allowance recipients enjoy fee-free banking with 11 select banks”
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has announced that beneficiaries of the state support program and disability allowance will now be able to use the services of 11 different banks without any transaction fees or charges. The listed banks include Akba Bank CJSC, Amio Bank CJSC, Aydi Bank CJSC, Araratbank CJSC, Ardshinbank CJSC, Artsakhbank CJSC, Evocabank CJSC, Inecobank CJSC, Converse Bank CJSC, Haykombank CJSC, and Unibank CJSC. If individuals do not have a card from any of these banks but wish to benefit from the state support program, they are advised to promptly change their pension or disability payment organization.
To change the bank, individuals can submit an application online by visiting the socservice.am website and selecting the “Online applications” section of the “Payment organization change claim” form. Alternatively, they can visit their nearest Territorial Social Security Office. If there are any questions, individuals can contact the Call Center at 114 calls.
