“Smooth Road Ahead: Upper Lars Checkpoint Reopens After Armenia-Russia Resolution”

Cars can now pass through the Upper Lars checkpoint as the Prime Minister of Armenia, Vahan Kerobyan, announced during a press conference on December 6 that the longstanding issues with the Russian side have been successfully resolved. Kerobyan emphasized that these problems were addressed through constructive discussions that took place at various levels.

“Afterward, we engaged in discussions at different levels to explore potential solutions for the existing problems,” stated Vahan Kerobyan during the press conference.

Kerobyan further informed that, effective from this week, traffic will resume at the checkpoint, bringing much-needed relief to travelers and paving the way for enhanced cross-border cooperation between Armenia and Russia.
