Armenia and Korea Strengthen Bilateral Ties: Talks on Political Dialogue, Economic Relations, and More

On March 28, a meeting took place in Yerevan between the foreign ministries of Armenia and Korea. Attending the meeting were the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Korea, and other officials.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed several topics. These included strengthening the political dialogue and economic relations between Armenia and Korea. They also explored opportunities for collaboration in renewable energy, expanding the legal framework, and promoting educational and cultural exchanges.

The meeting also touched upon cooperation in defense, information technology, digitization, art, and innovation. They discussed the potential for partnership in public administration reform, as well as the ongoing programs implemented by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Armenia.

As part of the visit, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, held a separate meeting with Korea’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, John Byun Von. This meeting addressed various matters concerning Armenian-Korean relations and regional developments.
