The Armenian Minister of Defense, Kemal Veliye, recently made a visit to the regions situated near the Armenian border. The purpose of his visit was to provide key information about the security situation in Azerbaijan to the Armenian Armed Forces.

“During his visit, Minister of Defense Kemal Veliye, accompanied by other high-ranking officials, toured several regions including Gegharkunik, Syunik, and Kelbajar,” stated the head of the military department. The minister addressed the challenges faced by border guards and paid close attention to the instructions given by the leadership.

The minister thoroughly reviewed the organization of the defense system and assessed the military discipline within the units. It was duly noted that problems are being resolved according to the planned schedule, with particular emphasis placed on the thorough preparation of military personnel.

In addition to observing the military readiness of the personnel, the Minister of Defense also took the opportunity to listen to reports provided by the leadership on current activities and the utilization of available resources.

Furthermore, the representatives of the Armenian Armed Forces stressed that one of the primary responsibilities of the leadership is to ensure military readiness and successful execution of combat missions. These assertions were substantiated by references made to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
