In a major car accident that occurred in the Kotayk province on November 29, a Range Rover and a Volkswagen Vento collided on the 20th km of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, according to Shamshyan.com. The collision resulted in four individuals, including city residents and on-duty rescuers, being trapped in the vehicles and promptly taken to the Avoyan Medical Center and the Byureghavan Medical Ambulance for immediate medical assistance. The injured received initial medical aid from doctors, and two of them were transferred to the Avoyan Medical Center. The other two, who were in critical condition, were transported to the Heratsi Hospital Complex No. 1.

After the accident, a fire broke out, but the firefighters quickly brought it under control within a range of 2.5-3 km. Thanks to the effectiveness of their actions, the road was promptly cleared and became passable again. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident and gathering more details to determine what exactly happened at the scene.
