“Prime Minister of Armenia Calls for Enhanced Environmental Protection in International Infrastructure Projects”

During a government meeting, the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, expressed his concerns about the environmental impact of international infrastructure construction competitions. He questioned the existence of roads that pass through mountain ridges or deforested areas without protective fences, emphasizing that such conditions are not acceptable. The Prime Minister highlighted the protection measures in place in Europe, where river flows are recorded and additional construction is implemented. He urged the importance of improving standards and not hesitating to collaborate with international partners who are accustomed to paying for quality services. Pashinyan concluded with an old Armenian saying that emphasizes the value of not compromising quality for cost.
