“Thousands of Armenian Students Embrace Chinese Language and Study Opportunities at Testing Fair”

On May 17, the second Chinese-style testing fair was held in Armenia. Organized by Chinese Testing International LLC and carried out by the Confucius Institute at the V. Bryusov State Linguistic University of Yerevan, the fair aimed to promote education exchanges and cooperation, as well as provide opportunities for language proficiency and studying in China. Over 20,000 Armenian students participated in this year’s fair.

The fair was attended by notable figures such as Fan Yon, the Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, the director of the Chinese Testing International Center, and David Gyurjinyan, the rector of the Bryusov State Linguistic University, along with other officials.

In his welcome speech, Fan Yon expressed his satisfaction in seeing a large number of young Armenian students interested in studying the Chinese language and pursuing education in China. He hoped that this fair would provide them with better access to Chinese language programs offered by universities in China, enabling them to fulfill their dreams of studying there.

Rector David Gyurjinyan highlighted the significance of the fair and emphasized that representatives from Chinese universities had already visited the Bryusov State Linguistic University, leading to successful meetings.

About 2,000 students and learners participated in the fair and had the opportunity to receive answers to their questions about studying abroad, as well as gain information about long-term and short-term Chinese programs.
