EPP members and the president of “My Step” Foundation, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, recently met with the rector of the State Conservatory of Yerevan and the director of the Conservatory of Carrières-sur-Seine, Omar Al Ansari. The main topic of discussion was the expansion of collaboration between the two conservatories, with a focus on joint initiatives between students and faculty members in cultural and academic research, as well as exchange programs.

Recognizing the significance of this collaboration, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan highlighted the importance of increasing the number of Armenian students at the Conservatory of Carrières-sur-Seine. To further foster Armenian studies, he proposed the establishment of a Center for Armenian Studies at the conservatory.

During the meeting, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan presented a letter from the rector of the Yerevan State Conservatory to Omar Al Ansari. The letter extended an invitation for a visit to the Conservatory of Yerevan, strengthening the ties between the two institutions.

In addition to this meeting, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan attended the 11th International Congress of Educational Innovation, hosted by the Armenian Educational New York Association at the Conservatory of Carrières-sur-Seine. The congress aimed to promote artistic and scientific education in the field of education and introduce innovative solutions in schools.

This collaboration between the two conservatories is a significant step towards fostering cultural and academic research. The establishment of a Center for Armenian Studies in Carrières-sur-Seine will provide Armenian students with greater opportunities for artistic and academic growth. The exchange programs and joint initiatives between students and faculty members will further enhance the educational experience and promote international understanding. With the support of leaders like Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, the conservatories are poised to forge a strong partnership that will benefit both institutions and their students for years to come.
