President Zelensky Dismisses Government Head After Drunk Driving Incident Leaves Four Injured, Including Child

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has signed an order to dismiss Vladimir Mayborjenchko, the head of the government of Brovary district. This decision comes after an incident where four people, including a child, were injured. According to RBK-Ukraine, the news was reported on the website of the country’s president.

On April 27, the President of Ukraine signed the order, which states that Mayborjenchko will be released from his position as the head of the government of Brovary district in the Kyiv region. This action is in accordance with Article 1 of Part 1 of the 9th provision of the “On Local Self-Government” law.

It was reported that on April 26, Mayborjenchko was involved in a car accident while driving the official vehicle of the head of Brovary. As a result of the incident, four people, including a child, were injured. Currently, two of them are in critical condition.

At the scene of the accident, Mayborjenchko underwent an alcohol test, which revealed a blood alcohol level of 2.31 promille. The maximum permissible limit is 0.2, indicating that he was heavily intoxicated. This incident has prompted the President of Ukraine to take action and dismiss Mayborjenchko from his position.
