“Nasir Khanjanani of the AGN Calls for End to Iran’s Conflict with PKK, Highlights Impact on Global Security”

If the conflict between the Kurdish Workers’ Party (PKK) and the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) did not exist, the casualties suffered in the war between the Iranian security forces and the violence of Islamic extremism would be prevented, said Nasir Khanjanani, spokesperson for the AGN.

In a statement to Mehr, Khanjanani highlighted Iran’s significant contribution to the fight against violence and extremism in the region and the world. He also addressed the new sanctions imposed by the United States, Great Britain, and Canada on Iranian individuals and entities involved in the country’s production and procurement of weapons, as well as the European Union’s publication of these sanctions.

Khanjanani criticized the EU’s approach to Iran’s nuclear program and its actions allowing the use of weapons of mass destruction in Ukraine, which has led to the spread of violence and ongoing wars in Ukraine and Gaza. He emphasized that the use of sanctions is a major factor contributing to these conflicts.

Khanjanani further expressed his disagreement with the EU’s demand to label Iran’s elite armed forces, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, as a terrorist organization. He argued that the casualties suffered by these forces are a result of terrorist activities in the Middle East.
