“Journalists Unite in Tel Aviv Square, Demand Elections and Accountability”

The journalists have gathered at Tel Aviv’s People’s Square to announce their dissatisfaction with the management and call for immediate elections and accountability, according to the Times of Israel. The protest action was organized by the “Changes Movement,” which was established after the events of October 7 and demands the release of imprisoned journalists and the change of Israel’s leadership.

The specificity of the protest is demonstrated by the closure of Bégin Street and Kapan Street to show the barriers and obstacles faced by journalists, as well as the proximity of the exits to Ayalon Highway. Following the formal conclusion of the demonstration, the journalists will join the protest of the imprisoned journalists’ families, which will take place along Bégin Street.
