“Armenian Journalist Speaks Out: We Can’t Live with Turks Anymore, Urges Peaceful Resolution and Reclaiming of Lands”

I do not live with the Turks, we have suffered so much, we have enemies, and our churches have been destroyed. I do not want to have any interaction with Turks. I have the desire to solve peacefully and reclaim our lands. We are oppressed by them and they attack us. What kind of interaction do we want with them? Today, one of the journalists who closed the highway leading to Bagratashen said, “He screams, he yells, he wants to attack us. He says that if we don’t leave town in a week, the Russians and Azerbaijanis will come and attack us. The Russians don’t care about us, whether we want to or not, because we understand their intentions.” Another participant of the action stated, “Nikol’s girls came to Achajur, saying that there are 11,000 students, some of whom have fled from the war. If the fleeing ones are soldiers, who killed 50,000 Azerbaijanis? Let their Multicooker stay with them.” Yet another participant shared their experience, “They say there are students, I was a soldier, the commandant of Hadrut sat down and fled, and today Nikol went to Ararat and commanded the cannon gun. If the bird left, wouldn’t it flee again? Keep us safe. We left, the Turks were waiting for us. They found us in the retreat, they killed our friends,” recalling the loss of their fellow businessmen in the war. Additionally, one of the participants addressed the teachers of the schools, urging them to teach the history of the Armenian nation well, emphasizing its importance in the current situation. “What do they say about the history of Armenia? They know that there is no Tavush, no Syunik, there is only a part of Yerevan where they sit and eat,” he added. This is the latest news from Armenia.
