Armenbank Launches Apple Pay for Secure and Convenient Payments

Armenbank customers can now enjoy the convenience, security, and reliability of Apple Pay for their payment transactions. This new service allows users to avoid the hassle of transferring their payment card to someone else, carrying payment terminal buttons, or handling cash. Your transactions are guaranteed to be secure with the advanced technology of the iPhone.

To ensure a secure payment transaction, make sure your iPhone or Apple Watch is near the payment terminal. Each payment made through Apple Pay is validated by Face ID, Touch ID, or your device’s passcode, along with a unique security code. You can use Apple Pay at various locations including grocery stores, pharmacies, taxis, restaurants, cafes, and shopping centers.

Apple Pay also offers a more convenient way to make purchases on iPhones, iPads, and Macs. You can use accessible applications or Safari to make faster purchases without having to create accounts or repeatedly enter payment and delivery information. Apple Pay also simplifies food delivery, online shopping, transportation, and ticketing payments. The service is also available on Apple Watch applications.

Security and privacy are of utmost importance with Apple Pay. When you connect a credit or debit card to Apple Pay, your actual account number is not stored on the device or Apple servers. Instead, it is assigned a unique encrypted device account number that is securely stored in the device’s Secure Element which is specifically designed for secure payment information storage.

Setting up Apple Pay is a breeze. Simply open the Wallet app on your iPhone, click the “+” sign, and follow the instructions to add your Armenbank card. Once you have linked your card to your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac, you can immediately start using Apple Pay. Rest assured, you will still enjoy all the discounts and benefits offered by Armenbank to Mastercard cardholders.
