“Turkey Implements Border Agreement, Marking Progress in Armenian-Turkish Conflict Resolution”

Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the declaration on the Armenian-Turkish border delimitation and demarcation, signed on April 19, 2024, by the Adana-Armenian border delimitation commission, will now be put into action. According to the announcement, the implementation of this agreement includes the return of the Adana region of Armenia, which has been occupied for 30 years by four villages, to Azerbaijan, as well as the continuation of demarcation work.

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes this positive development, as it signifies a crucial step towards resolving the long-standing conflict in accordance with the provisions of the peace agreement. The achievement of this outcome through direct negotiations further emphasizes the significance of this progress.
