According to the available information, Russian military forces are being withdrawn from Artsakh. The movement is expected to take place towards the territory of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation’s Dashnaktsutyun (Dasyan), which indicates that the previous operation to evacuate the Russian peacekeeping contingent in the region is no longer valid, while the new evacuation operations are proving to be more difficult. This was written by the former President of the NKR, PEC, David Ananian.

He noted that, according to reports, Russia is consolidating its influence and presence in the southern region of the Caspian Sea, which is the highest level decision of the Russian Defense and the Executive Authority of Azerbaijan. “Such a decision or Russia’s response is quite clear, in fact, it is aimed at hindering Armenia, Turkey, and the West, and is disconnected from the interests of Russia. Observations and forecasts made on this matter, as well as an attempt to offer to Russia similar steps, are based on assumptions, and have not made any particular progress,” said Ananian.

However, it is clear and certain in this context that the possessions and intentions of Armenia have remained outside the time of discussions of affected interests during the period of conversations coordinated without explicit caution, despite the requirement for fairness, without any investigation.

Russian military operations in the region of our homogeneous interests – even without witnesses and scrutiny – have shown an extraordinary range of relations with various other participants in the international process.

Russia’s repeated retreat from our security and policy interests in Armenia from one time and even now indicates an entangled range of issues, showing the study of relations between the interests of military, intelligence, and global political programs relative to its length in our region. It reminds us that it is not necessary to consider the perspectives and intentions of individuals or organizations who have the capacity and opportunity to present international guidelines for us or to have construction facilities.
