The Minister of the Republic of Armenia’s Urban Development Committee, Artur Hovhannisyan, spoke about the importance of historical and real stories of Armenia during a meeting of the Urban Development Committee. He believes that those who bring up this issue have the right to ask questions. Hovhannisyan mentioned that he learned about Utiqi, Paytakan, Syunik, Tavush, and other provinces through the state educational program. He expressed concern that the historical aspects were not highlighted enough, which led to a lack of knowledge about their homeland. According to Hovhannisyan, this has caused problems as people focus on the flaws of their compatriots rather than loving and defending their homeland.

In addition, Hovhannisyan emphasized the significance of October 27, a day that commemorates the massacre of defenders of historical Armenia. He criticized the previous regime for teaching people not to love or know about the real Armenia. Hovhannisyan described the defenders as tired individuals who possess extensive knowledge of the history of the Republic of Armenia and share it with others. He also mentioned that the former regime criticizes the current authorities and the work they have accomplished so far in defending the Republic of Armenia.
