The Israeli defense ministry has announced that all Israeli forces will be withdrawing from the Gaza Strip tonight, after four months of clashes in the Khan Yunis region. Currently, only one “Nahal” brigade remains in the Gaza Strip. According to the statement, the Nahal brigade’s role is to provide security for the Negev region, which is the southern border of Israel. They have already entered the southern part of Gaza, allowing the defense ministry to take action in the surrounding areas and facilitate the return of settlers and the provision of assistance to the civilian population by humanitarian organizations and international institutions.
