Armenia and Arab League Partner Up for Cybersecurity – Boosting Information Security Measures

The Republic of Armenia and the Arab League have agreed to cooperate in the field of cybersecurity, according to a statement released by the Ministry of High Technological Industry. The memorandum of cooperation was signed during the 28th session of the Arab League’s Council of Arab Ministers responsible for information technology. Gegham Manukyan, the Minister of High Technological Industry of Armenia, and Mohamad Al Kouweiti, the Director-General of the Arab League’s Cyber Security Center, signed the document. This signing took place as part of the annual meetings of the Council of Arab Ministers responsible for information technology, which will be held in Arab League countries from November 30 to December 15. The Armenian delegation, led by President Vahagn Khachaturyan, is participating in the event.
