“COVID-19 Cases Rise: 72 Confirmed; Violations of Public Order and Quarantine Spike”

According to official reports from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, as of March 27-28, there have been 72 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country.

These cases have led to various violations of rights, including transportation issues, bodily harm, freedom infringements, mental health concerns, food-related problems, property rights violations, limitations on physical activity, obstruction of goods distribution, theft, arson, toxic substance transportation, driving under the influence, alcohol or drug consumption, damage to public health, and violence between parents and children.

Among these violations, transportation issues were the most common with 11 cases, followed by bodily harm with 10 cases, violence with 9 cases, mental health concerns with 8 cases, food-related problems with 6 cases, property rights violations with 5 cases, limitations on physical activity with 4 cases, obstruction of goods distribution with 3 cases, damage to public health with 2 cases, and human trafficking, exploitation, toxic substance transportation, drug smuggling, child abduction, and child labor each having 1 case.

Additionally, 3 cases have been detected, and 2 cases have been investigated. Furthermore, there have been 5 reported cases of violating public order and peace. In previous cases, there were 4 violations of property rights, 2 cases of bodily injury, and 1 case of violence.

During the past day alone, the country has recorded a total of 16 quarantine violations. Sadly, 3 people have died, and 29 others have suffered various degrees of bodily injury.
