Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has accepted the invitation from Anne-Laurence Petel, President of the France-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group of the French National Assembly. The Prime Minister welcomed the visit of the delegation and expressed gratitude for their interest in the programs implemented in Armenia regarding French-Armenian ties. He emphasized the need to strengthen and deepen bilateral cooperation between Armenia and France in various fields. Anne-Laurence Petel mentioned that the parliamentary friendship group includes representatives from all political forces supporting Armenia’s non-aligned foreign policy.

The discussions also covered regional processes, including the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Prime Minister Pashinyan mentioned his recent visit to the frontline in the North of Karabakh and the steps and programs undertaken to address the issues faced by the displaced population. He emphasized the importance of international support in resolving these problems.
