The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia has extended the deadline for receiving applications for the accreditation of preschool educational institutions or professional development programs for educational employees until April 12, 2024. The accreditation process will be carried out according to the decision N 269 of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, “On establishing the procedure for implementing preschool programs for educational employees in public or community educational institutions and the payment of state funds from the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for training,” which was issued on March 2, 2023.

Starting from 2024, educational employees can also participate in accreditation in state and community educational institutions, as well as art and cultural centers where children learn various types of arts, based on the specified criteria. The accreditation will be done through testing, and an educational employee can apply for accreditation once during a certain period, depending on their choice and the number of approved criteria.

To apply for accreditation, educational employees need to provide the necessary information in the electronic system of the Education Management Information System at.emis.am before April 7, 18:00. After this deadline, no further applications will be accepted. The required documents and information include the employee’s name, place of residence, educational programs attended, contact details, copies of diplomas and certificates, and relevant information for employees involved in the upbringing of children with special needs.

The accreditation process will take place on May 4 and 5, 2024, and the final schedule will be published after registration of the announcements.
