The food safety monitoring body of the Republic of Armenia recently conducted a thorough inspection of a dairy products facility in the regional center of Lori province, which is owned by Sergey Karapetyan, a prominent geneticist. The inspection revealed several violations of sanitary and hygienic norms during the production process.

Specifically, it was discovered that the raw materials used in production were not properly sanitized, and the equipment and containers were also found to be unsanitary. Additionally, traces of rodents were found within the facility.

As a result of the inspection, the production at the facility has been suspended, and the authorities have instructed the owners to rectify the identified violations within a specified timeframe.
