On December 4th at 14:35, an Azerbaijani UAV opened fire towards the Armenian position near the village of Bardzruni in the Vayots Dzor region. Tragically, Sergeant Samvel Avetik Arakelyan of the RA Armed Forces sustained a fatal injury as a result.

The Ministry of Defense has stated that the purpose of this incident is to create complete instability in the region. They have emphasized their commitment to providing protection and support to the family members of the fallen soldier, as well as to the freedom fighters and business partners.
