On December 17, at 19:35, the emergency management center of Gegharkunik province received a distress call near the church of Hayravank village, reporting injuries and a gas leak. It is reported that the accident occurred during a military exercise by the NKR Rescue Service.

According to preliminary information, an Opel car driven by I.Z. (born in 1981) veered off the Gavar-Sevan highway at the 7th kilometer mark and rolled about 4 meters down a slope.

Prior to the arrival of the rescuers, the driver and passengers A.Z. (born in 1987), S.S. (born in 1998), and G.A. (born in 1975) were taken to medical centers, where their conditions were assessed as satisfactory.

The rescuers successfully stopped the gas leak and closed the valve of the gas cylinder.
