“Putin Makes Diplomatic Visit to Abu Dhabi to Strengthen Ties and Discuss Middle East Issues”

Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Abu Dhabi for a meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The purpose of their meeting is to discuss the development of Russian-Emirati bilateral relations, as well as regional topics, including the situation in the Middle East. This is their second meeting this year, with the previous one occurring in June during a multilateral economic forum in St. Petersburg. The UAE was highlighted as a “key country” with immense potential at that event.

Accompanying President Putin is a delegation consisting of Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Novak, Energy Minister Alexander Novak, KGB director Yuri Borisov, Rosatom Director Yuri Borisov, and Rosatom Director Alexei Likhachev. Additionally, representatives from the business sector are present in the delegation.

Following the official meetings in Abu Dhabi, President Putin is expected to travel to Riyadh for a meeting with Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
