We are currently discussing the issue of liberalization of the visa regime between Armenia and the EU. In our analysis, we are considering the current situation and also engaging in conversations with journalists regarding the role of ambassadors in the visa process. On December 5, during a meeting with journalists, Ambassador Vincent Makoshi, the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, highlighted some key points regarding this matter.

“The process of visa liberalization has already produced positive outcomes, as many Armenians have had the opportunity to visit the EU. We are open to continuing discussions on the liberalization of visas. However, we must wait to witness the outcomes of these processes. It is important to note that this issue must be agreed upon by all member states of the EU,” he stated.
