A preventive measure of arrest has been applied to Tsolak Akopyan, according to lawyer Arsen Babayan. Akopyan has been detained. Yesterday, it was announced that Akopyan was charged with carrying out actions aimed at overthrowing the constitutional order by force from 2019 to 2022. These charges were based on the insufficient assessment of students’ knowledge who received unsatisfactory grades in English on their final exams. It was alleged that a member of the commission marked their negative assessments as positive. Additionally, Babayan stated that Tsolak Akopyan has been charged with political motives.
