Ararat Mirzoyan, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, recently had a meeting with Laurent Brun, the Secretary-General of the CGT France-European Questions. Their meeting took place during the 30th annual session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) in Slovakia. According to a report by NEWS.am, the focus of their discussion was primarily on the political dialogue between Armenia and France, along with prospects for cooperation in the areas of security and stability. They also talked about the ongoing negotiations and the necessary steps to regulate the relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Mirzoyan emphasized the significance of taking advantage of the existing opportunities to advance the processes at hand. In fact, just last week, he submitted a draft proposal for a bilateral agreement to Azerbaijan. This demonstrates Armenia’s commitment towards finding a resolution to the issues between the two countries.

During their conversation, Mirzoyan and Brun also exchanged their views on the agenda of the Armenian-EU partnership. They discussed the upcoming events and potential avenues for cooperation in various sectors. The Armenian-EU partnership is instrumental in promoting mutual growth and collaboration between the two entities.
