“Explosion and Fire: BMW Driver causes havoc in Ararat Province”

On November 26, a significant accident occurred in the Ararat province. At around 22:40, a 24-year-old resident of the city of Vedi, Artem Mkhitaryan, was driving his BMW X5 vehicle in the village of Apar on M. Khorenatsi Street when he collided with a Ford Transit car that was on the approved section of the road.

As a result of the collision, several gas bottles installed on the road started to leak gas and caught fire. The fire also caused electrical wires to ignite. Fortunately, preliminary reports from Shamshyan.com indicate that there were no injuries. Despite being trapped in the car after the explosion, the driver managed to escape.

After the accident, the gas and electricity supply to Apar and several nearby villages was cut off due to the damage caused to the gas and electrical networks. Initial investigations suggest that the speeding of the BMW X5 driver was the cause of the accident, creating a dangerous situation on the road. It was also discovered that the driver of the BMW X5 was not the owner of the vehicle.

At the scene, a number of local residents mentioned that the accident might have been caused by another car from the side of another vehicle. However, the authenticity of this information is currently being verified. Further updates on the situation will be provided by News from Armenia – NEWS.am.
