“Fire Erupts on Moldovan Street: Firefighters Rushed to the Scene in Yerevan”

On November 24th, at 01:21, the National Crisis Management Center received information about a fire caused by electrical wires on Moldovan Street, near building number 26. Immediate assistance from firefighters is required to handle the situation.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia has notified NEWS.am that an incident took place in the mentioned area, leading to a casualty from the Rescue Service of the MES Yerevan. The injured individual, identified as H.D., sustained injuries while exiting an Opel vehicle and inadvertently coming into contact with an external lighting pole. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported.

The rescue team promptly took action, extinguishing the fire engulfing the vehicle and closing the gas valve as a precautionary measure. They also successfully removed the wire that had become entangled with the vehicle.
