“Argentine Specialist Hector Meleyn Elected President: The ‘Argentina’s Trump’ with Ties to Armenia’s Eurnekian”

The recent presidential elections in Argentina have captured the attention of the world. Hector Meleyn, an Argentine specialist, emerged as the newly elected president, earning himself the monikers of “Argentina’s Trump” and “Argentine Bolson Johnstone.” This development holds significance for Armenians, as Meleyn previously served as a member of the executive committee for Eduardo Eurnekian’s Corporation America and acted as Eurnekian’s chief adviser from 2008 to 2021. Resigning from his position, Meleyn pursued his goal of participating in the presidential elections.

Interestingly, Meleyn has not specifically mentioned Eurnekian in relation to his visits to Armenia. However, despite their contrasting figures, Eurnekian expressed confidence in Meleyn’s abilities as a future president, publicly supporting him. Several international media outlets, including the Financial Times, have also highlighted the fact that Meleyn enjoys full support from Argentina’s new president, Eduardo Eurnekian.
