Resigning from his position, Meleyn pursued his goal of participating in the presidential elections.

Interestingly, Meleyn has not specifically mentioned Eurnekian in relation to his visits to Armenia. However, despite their contrasting figures, Eurnekian expressed confidence in Meleyn’s abilities as a future president, publicly supporting him.
