In response, the Israeli military announced that it has retaliated against missiles launched from within the Lebanese occupied area. Lebanese authorities have declared that the Israeli aerial attacks specifically targeted a residential building in the Shehunat settlement, which is situated just 1km away from the city of Nabatieh and is known to be one of the most densely populated Israeli settlements. This attack follows a month of escalating military operations in the region.
