Elon Musk Faces Trial for Defamation Against Red Square Leaders and Major Companies
American businessman and billionaire Elon Musk is currently facing trial for defamation against the leaders of the Red Square and advertising agencies, including Disney and Apple, according to NBC News. The trial centers around several words that Musk published in a vernacular blog four nights ago. Musk responded to a user who criticized the editors for promoting discrimination and inciting hatred among white people by stating, “You’ve said an absolute lie.”
In response to his initial trial, Musk counter-sued the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), an organization known for combating anti-Semitic issues. Musk has had disagreements with the ADL for several months regarding his views on the Holocaust, which he expressed on social networking sites. The ADL president, Jonathan Greenblatt, described Musk’s case as “alarming,” especially given the prevalence of anti-Semitism in the United States and the world today. Greenblatt posted a photo of Musk’s deleted tweet on the ADL website.
Additionally, the Red Square expressed disappointment and condemned Musk’s comments. They stated that Musk’s support of racist and radical discrimination goes against their fundamental values.
