Macron highlights the severity of the situation, with over a thousand acts of violence occurring within the past month alone, which is three times the previous year’s count. In his letter, published on the Le Parisien news website, Macron expresses his concern for the daily attacks experienced by his compatriots. He mentions the violence inflicted upon children within schools, as well as the fear of not being able to return home safely, leading them to conceal their identities. Macron sternly asserts that such circumstances are unacceptable.

Mentioning the HAMAAS-organized demonstration on October 7, Macron reiterates his unwavering support for Israel’s right to self-defense. However, along with this stance, he calls for political dialogue and the establishment of a “humanitarian ceasefire” to provide relief for the victims of the conflict. Advocating for justice, peace, and security, Macron emphasizes the importance of unity among the French population in denouncing “political Islamism and religious separatism.”
