Iran’s President, Ebrahim Raisi, spoke to journalists after a meeting with representatives from the Islamic Cooperation Organization (ICO) and Arab League in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. According to Mehr News Agency, Raisi emphasized the crucial role of the United Nations (UN) in addressing the existence of the Israeli regime. He also mentioned that the US supports this regime, which he believes is responsible for the destruction of Palestine and the loss of innocent lives.

Raisi expressed Iran’s serious approach to the Palestinian cause, stating that he has been the voice of his nation and all those who protest against the violation of Palestinian rights. He highlighted Iran’s commitment to protecting the rights of the Palestinian people and condemning oppressive regimes like ISIS. Raisi emphasized that Iran’s support for Al-Quds and the rights of the Palestinian people is at the forefront of the global anti-colonialist movement.

Raisi further discussed the proposals and solutions offered by Iran during his tenure to support the Gaza Strip. He reiterated that supporting the Palestinian cause is the only option, as it aligns with the interests of the Palestinian people and garners meaningful engagement from signatory parties, commentators, and experts on various related issues.

Finally, Raisi emphasized the importance of preserving territorial rights and self-determination, stating that a barbaric regime and occupier should not be allowed in the case of the Zinas plateau, regardless of its age.
