Russia and Northern Sudan Join Forces for Groundbreaking Natural Resource Mapping Project

Russia and Northern Sudan have recently agreed to collaborate on joint scientific research and mapping relating to the natural resources of Northern Sudan, as announced by Charles Tong, the deputy ambassador of Northern Sudan in Moscow, during an interview with TASS. He stated that an agreement has been signed between Rosgeologia and the Ministry of Minerals in Sudan for cooperation in the field of geological exploration. The agreement includes the mapping of Sudan’s natural resources, and Rosgeologia has received a proposal from the Sudanese government.

According to Tong, the agreement sets a timeline of two years for the completion of the project. He also highlighted that Rosgeologia has been involved in mapping Northern Sudan’s resources even before the country split into two. He expressed confidence in Rosgeologia’s expertise and believed that this collaboration would be beneficial for both parties.
