Arab Leaders Convene in Saudi Arabia to Tackle Terrorism and Gaza Crisis

Leaders of Persian Gulf and Arab countries have gathered in Saudi Arabia to discuss regional cooperation in the fight against terrorism and the crisis in Gaza, as reported by Al Arabiya.

The President of Syria, Bashar Assad, the President of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, and Iran’s President, Ebrahim Raisi, are participating in the Islamic Cooperation Organization (ICO) and the Arab League summit.

The summit, announced by the Saudi Arabian AOGN, aims to address recent developments that have impacted the region.

The Saudi Arabian AOGN stated that the summit is a response to the urgent need to unify efforts, overcome obstacles, and achieve common goals amidst the current challenges.

During the summit, it is anticipated that the participants will directly address Israel’s actions in Gaza and call for an end to the oppression of the Palestinian people.
