“Armenia Introduces Online Non-Cash Purchases for Personal Use, Changing Import Limits – A Step Towards Modernizing Public Procurement”

Starting from April 1, 2024, a pilot project for online non-cash purchase of goods for personal use will be implemented in Armenia. The former limit of 200,000 AMD and 31 kg for personal purchases has been replaced with a limit of 200 euros and 31 kg, set by the European Union Advisory Group for Economic Regulation. This change is part of the ongoing reform of the public procurement system.
