The Armenian Catholicosate of Cilicia emphasized the importance of recognition and international responsibility. Okampon discussed the case of perpetrator Garlos Arslanian and called for international solidarity to prevent future crimes. Catholicos Aram I praised the speech and emphasized national unity and improved international management for the security of the Armenian people.
