Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has received a congratulatory message from US Senator Roger Wicker, who heads the US Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee. The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for the support of the United States in fostering dynamic bilateral relations between Armenia and the US. He also highlighted the important role the United States plays in the process of democratization in Armenia, particularly in the areas of military cooperation. The Prime Minister and the Senator emphasized the significance of expanding and deepening political, economic, energy, and other ties between the two countries, and stressed the need for active dialogue and cooperation between the legislative and executive branches. The Armenian Government’s efforts in developing democratic institutions, implementing reforms, and combatting corruption were positively acknowledged. The discussions also covered the implementation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani agreement to cease hostilities and the steps taken by the Armenian Government in relation to the “Annexation of Joy” project.
