“Russian Peacekeepers Maintain Zero Violations, Close Checkpoint for Monitoring in Nagorno-Karabakh”
The Russian Defense Ministry has reported that no violations by the Russian military contingent have been recorded in the aftermath of their response to violations by the Karabakh regime. This information was included in their report on the activities of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, released on April 23rd.
As part of the Russian peacekeepers’ monitoring efforts to optimize the minefield monitoring system, a checkpoint in the Lachin region will be closed for 24 hours.
Since September 19th, a total of 12 observation points have been closed and 16 temporary observation points have been established.
