“Prime Minister Pashinyan Highlights Challenges and Priorities in the Republic of Armenia’s Judicial System”

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, recently visited the Supreme Court to participate in a ceremony commemorating the 106th anniversary of the establishment of the Judicial System of Armenia and the Judicial Worker’s Day. Pashinyan expressed his belief that justice continues to be a major challenge in Armenia and that effective implementation has been lacking. He emphasized the importance of establishing the role of the judiciary in the country’s justice system and called on the government, as well as other relevant bodies, to take responsibility for addressing this issue. Pashinyan also acknowledged the government’s efforts to increase salaries for judicial system workers and urged for a focus on professionalism and allowing workers to concentrate on their tasks.
