Today, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received information about a crime that took place near building number 1 on Eastern Avenue, close to the Gyumri airport. According to reliable operative information, a man named Artyur D. and his pregnant wife were attacked by unknown individuals using a cutting weapon. The couple sustained severe injuries, as confirmed by the attending doctor. Crime investigators and forensic experts arrived at the scene and identified evidence indicating a criminal offense. Preliminary findings suggest that Artyur D. may have been involved in the crime. As a result, a state of emergency was declared in the Shirak regional administration. Furthermore, a forensic medical examination has been scheduled based on the decision of the investigator. It is worth noting that Artyur D.’s father, who was also implicated in the crime, had been involved in a similar incident in the past.
