Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has been removed from his role as the president of the military committee of the Republic of Armenia’s General Staff. The decision, made by Defense Minister Artyom Mkrtchyan, is in accordance with Article 9 of the Republic of Armenia’s Law “On the Armed Forces”, specifically Article 7. The effective date of Pashinyan’s removal is July 1, 2024, as stated in the decision.
