“Armenia Receives 10-Point Proposal for Ceasefire Agreement: Defense Minister Shares Insight”

Armenian Minister of Defense, Armen Grigoryan, revealed that Armenia has received a proposal consisting of 10 conditions for the ceasefire agreement. He shared this information during a meeting with journalists. On June 7, the National Security Service of Armenia announced that both Armenia and Azerbaijan have signed the ceasefire agreement. The Armenian side has expressed readiness to commence construction and infrastructure work within a month, with the goal of completing and signing the agreement. Grigoryan emphasized that the process typically involves fluctuations, but assured that they are actively working on it. Notably, on June 4, it was reported that Armenia responded to Azerbaijan’s latest proposals concerning the ceasefire agreement. Azerbaijan’s President, Ilham Aliyev, stated that the signing of the ceasefire agreement with Armenia will be purely technical until November of this year. Additionally, he emphasized that amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia are necessary for the signing of the document.
