Tragic Fire Engulfs Home in Amrak Village, Leaving Family Displaced

In the village of Amrak in Lori province, a residential house caught fire last night, where a family of two lived. Today, on June 17, the head of the village administration, Martin Alaverdyan, informed NEWS.am during an interview. He explained that one of the houses was occupied by a single woman aged 60-63. After the fire, her relatives, including her mother and brother, came to live with her. The village head mentioned that arrangements are being made for her to be relocated soon. Another house in the village was occupied by a 35-year-old man who had recently arrived from Yerevan with his family. The fire completely destroyed his house, as evidenced by the smoke that could still be seen in the morning.”

On June 17 at 01:42, the Central Administration of Civil Defense in Lori province received a report of a residential house fire in the village of Amrak. The fire occurred in the first section of the first row of houses in the village. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire by 02:43 and completely put it out by 09:00. Unfortunately, the house, which had an area of approximately 320 square meters, was completely burnt down.
